Community Christian Boarding School
For Girls
CCBS is a Christ centered girls boarding school. Each child
that enters the home is taught that Christ should be the in the center of their life. They are active in church outings
and youth group.
Located on 18 acres of land, CCBS is in Lenoir, North Carolina, just one hour north
of Charolotte. Education is a large part in a childs life. First they are taught Christian education
including the death, burial, and resurection
of our Lord, Jesus. We also have a school room where they are in school through CCBS and Switched On Schoolhouse©. The
school year runs from August to May, five days a week. Every few weeks, we take the girls on a field trip.
When finish with school CCBS Home for Girls
provides a wide variety of activities. The CCBS home provides an indoor GYM for recreation including basketball, soccer, air
hockey, volleyball, and ping-pong. In the future, it is our goal to build a soft-ball field for out-door fun. The home also
includes a pond where the girls enjoy fishing and boating. Aside from all the fun, they are also taught how to plant and maintain
a garden and housekeeping.
HISTORY of CCBS
"We finished and moved into the house Easter of 2005. The
school is a non-profit faith based ministry. No tuition is required at any time for a student to attend. Students are
required to spend a minium of 12 months once they enter the boarding school."
"The purpose of the home is to teach the way of salvation,
a Christ-centered education, and a vocational background including gardening, cooking, and housecleaning."
"The students live in a family style atmosphere with Mr. and Mrs. Vannoy and our daughter.
They are assigned daily chores, have goals to meet in school, and have personal Bible study and scripture memorization.
The Lord has truly been a blessing with the girls being saved and lives changed. The Vannoy family minisry is a home mission
project. An invitaion is givin to all to come and see what the Lord is doing."
